About: Dr. Newnham

Dr. Newnham received his undergraduate medical degree from the University of the West Indies, completing his surgical residency in 1999 from the same institution. In 2006 he was elected a fellow of the American College of SurgeonsHe is currently a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Postgraduate Programme in General Surgery at the University, and has been actively involved in the training of undergraduates and postgraduates in Jamaica and the Caribbean for the last 15 yrs.
